“Whitney Houston once said “I believe that children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way.” … but she also said she never found anyone to fulfill her dreams, that it was a lonely place. So what did she do? She learned to depend on her herself. She was right. We shouldn’t be just looking at our dreams and hoping for someone to fulfill it for us. We can believe in our dreams. But we can only achieve them if we focus on our own “spirit” to make them come true.”

Minejima-Lee Kai, aged 10, competes internationally in indoor skydiving. He picked up the sport at the age of seven, and is also a keen proponent of Tae-Kwon Do and Wushu. Kai and his flying partner, Vera, were selected by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to teach Joseph Schooling in the vertical wind tunnel at iFly in a series called “Tiny Trainers Tutorial”. Kai also appeared alongside the other Singaporean indoor skydivers in STB’s “Passion Made Possible” campaign. Fluent in English and Japanese, Kai is currently homeschooled and spends his time between Singapore, Japan and Taiwan.
